March 26, 2007 - Curtis Granderson, starting centerfielder for the American League champion Detroit Tigers, has agreed to become the baseball correspondent for The Playboy Morning Show, heard exclusively on Sirius Satellite Radio. Granderson will report every Monday morning during the 2007 Major League Baseball season.
“This segment promises to be a lot of fun, and will cover not only baseball, but also pop culture,” Granderson said. “I’m looking forward to sitting down every Monday with hosts Kevin Klein and Andrea Lowell for what will be an unpredictable journey.”

Segment time may vary from week to week, depending on the travel schedule of the Detroit Tigers and availability of Granderson. The Playboy Morning show airs from 7 am Pacific until 10 am Pacific, Monday-Friday.

Granderson helped lead the up-start Detroit Tigers to the World Series in 2006. During the regular season, he hit 19 homeruns from the leadoff position and drove in 68 runs. In the playoffs, he was among the team leaders in hits (12), homeruns (3) and runs batted in (7).
